The Matzu Tree design was developed in 2021 and is a departure from Timorous Beasties’ signature hand-drawn approach to decoration. Freestyle swirls and smudges evoke the wind blowing in a forest, which is rendered by overlaying our much-loved Japanese Tree print on top of the abstract background. The design is printed onto a cotton-linen blend in two colourways that enhance its natural theme.
