This Three day advanced training focuses on the primary relationship of the diaphragm, pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles and their primary influence on the torso's organization. This relationship is present from birth and is involved in our most basic functions - breathing, speaking, the functioning of our digestive and urogenital systems and the support of our skeleton - often below conscious awareness.
In this course Julie utilizes lecture, ATM, anatomical discussion and touch to bring these areas to conscious awareness and explore their impact on how we support ourselves. Special emphasis is placed on self-use and how the organization of the cylinder allow us to adapt to load.
The foundation of the course is set up through explorations done in ATM lessons, first experiencing them personally, then discussing and analyzing them, and finally proceeding to work with these ideas in Functional Integration.
