Alex specialises in throwing on the wheel and nerikomi - the Japanese art of folding coloured clay. Nerikomi is a decorative process that involves the stacking and cross-sectional slicing of coloured clay. I love this technique so much that I incorporate pattern making into the entire body of the vessel. The stripes are made directly from the slices off a patterned block of clay.

Please note there are slight variations in size and design due to the handmade process of each piece.

Each piece is dishwasher, oven and microwave safe.
