The first of Paranubes's single varietal series, Cana Morada is cane juice rum turned up to 11. Alongside the vibrant cane flavor and slight maritime salinity, there is an explosion of spice notes, particularly sweet cinnamon reminiscent of Big Red Gum, or Atomic Fireball Candy. Due to the production process, these limite single varietal expressions can only produced when distiller Jose Luis has an empty fermentation tank after he has finished distilling a batch of Paranubes Blanco. As such, these single-varietal expressions are produced regularly, but in a limited, seasonal capacity. Bottled at 54% abv.
