This STANDARD professional tufting cloth is specifically designed for the rug tufting industry, and used by professional and industrial area rug manufacturers.

This primary backing fabric is made of a density of 60/60 threads per 10 cm. Ideal for rug making and tufted wall pieces, this fabric made of 100% polyester is extremely strong. It stays stretched drum tight without the need to re-stretching constantly. With a width of 165" (420 cm), this rug tufting backing is more forgiving when you make a mistake and when you need to re-tuft in the same area. It is less likely to tear and can be used with any tufting guns or manual tufting tools. It is also great for punch needle, rug hooking and any large-needle craft projects.
