The teat is made from one smooth piece so that it offers no chance to bacteria and other germs that would otherwise get stuck in between. The Goldi shape is therefore really perfectly developed for babies. Finally, natural rubber is a lot safer than silicone for babies with teeth. They easily bite off pieces of the silicone teat and can swallow them. That is very dangerous! With natural rubber you prevent this. The bottle teats have an anti-slip layer due to very small bumps on the bottom so that they do not slide off the bottle. Do not put the drinking teat too tightly on the bottle. If you see small bubbles while your baby drinks, then the teat is completely in place. If you spill milk, then it is obviously not in place properly. Maintenance You can easily clean the Goldi bottle teat by briefly dipping it in hot water with a wooden spoon. Do not boil it for longer than 2 minutes. The hot water disinfects the teat. Then let the teat dry on a clean, disinfected cloth, away from sunlight and heat. The teats are made of natural rubber and can therefore not be put in an evaporator, microwave or dishwasher.
