This is a lovely vintage 40s 1940s navy blue rayon and satin day to date dress.

Beautiful medium weight woven navy blue rayon accented with navy blue satin.

I have lightened a few photos to show details - the color is a rich navy blue.

The bodice features front and back vertical darts for a flattering fit, 40s shoulder pads, and a vee neckline accented by small satin lapels.

Wrist length sleeves with small darts at the elbows.

Nipped waist is sewn to a slightly a-line skirt which is accented by a long peplum which wraps around from back to front falling into cascading draped panels on the skirt front as pictured.

The peplum is backed with satin.

I'm 5'4" and this comes to the middle of my calf. It may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height.

Zips up the left side with an 11" metal zipper. Unlined.

No labels of any kind.

CONDITION: Excellent. No snags, picks, holes, stains, rips, discoloration, or fading. There is a very slight storage odor which will come out with dry cleaning.

SIZING: No size tags are present. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this dress would best fit a modern size Medium to smallish Large.
