Wonderful 1960s hostess gown has an amazing caftan vibe. A texture cotton mix has a cross hatch of fine gold thread woven through it for a subtle bit of golden glint. Then a bright floral design has been worked through the fabric in lovely bright hues. This really gives it an interesting and unusual texture that I love! It is cut caftan style with an A-line cut through the body that widens dramatically as it nears the hem. The sleeves mimic this and also widen as they near the wrist. The neck is high and scooped and the front embellished with a thick gold cord and braided cord detailing. Each sleeve has the same gold cord circling it. Very chic. It was a little big on my mannequin - on the proper size girl it will sit and move far better then how it photoed. Excellent condition!

Fully lined in a silk organza and closes with a back painted metal zipper. Hidden pockets along the side seams at the hip. The interior fabric shows some slight wear here and there but nothing that shows when on and it does not compromise the dress in any way.
