Press pause on everyday life and treat yourself to a full day of uninterrupted sewing, creativity and good company!

Our Sewing Day Escape is designed for sewists who simply want time and space to enjoy their craft. Bring along your own project, settle into your sewing station, and spend the day stitching alongside fellow sewing enthusiasts in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Unlike our tutor-led workshops, there’s no set project, no formal teaching and no pressure to keep up. This is your time to work at your own pace, tackle that unfinished garment, start something new, or simply enjoy a day devoted entirely to sewing.

Throughout the day you'll enjoy plenty of sewing time, friendly conversation, refreshments and a chance to connect with others who share your passion for making.

Whether you come on your own or with friends, you'll find a supportive, inclusive atmosphere where everyone is welcome.

No machine? No problem. We have six sewing machines available for guests to use during the day, or you're very welcome to bring along your own machine if you prefer sewing on familiar equipment.

Our spacious Clifton Moor studio comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out, cut fabric and work on projects without feeling crowded. With free parking right outside the door, arriving with sewing machines, tools and project supplies couldn't be easier.

While this isn't a formal tutor-led workshop, you won't be left to figure everything out by yourself. The focus of the day is on enjoying uninterrupted sewing time and making progress on your own projects, but a Sewcialising tutor will be available throughout the day to answer questions, offer advice and help you overcome any sewing hiccups along the way.
