This custom serving board was hand routed from a piece of reclaimed Oak lumber. The history of this masterpiece has been preserved by filling all the holes with clear epoxy leaving its natural character for all to admire. The small rustic maple leaf in the corner accents this board using metallic red coloured epoxy. A sophisticated touch suitable for any occasion.

All our handmade boards are machine sanded with grits ranging from (80 to 1,000) and finished with hand sanding using grits up 3,000. Making this board feel silky smooth.

After sanding, our boards receive an overnight bath in Walrus cutting board oil which is a proprietary wood finish recipe made up of Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, Vitamin E, and Beeswax, FDA compliant for food contact surfaces such as cutting boards and butcher blocks.

To finish our boards, we polish them using Walrus wood wax which is a handcrafted blend of Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, and Vitamin E. This treatment adds additional protection from water and moisture while bringing out the vivid wood colour and shine.
