This is a thru axle adapter that allows you to secure a road bike's disc brake thru axle to a fixed trainer. Made of aluminum alloy Al7075, it is lightweight and has sufficient strength, making it ideal for everyday use. Can be used with most fixed trainer roller stands on the market. A nylon washer is also included as standard equipment to prevent scratches on the right side of the vehicle. Can be used with either 142mm or 148mm with a 12mm thru axle. A 45 degree tapered washer is included so it can be used on tapered car bodies. Three pitches are available: 1.0mm, 1.5mm and 1.75mm. Please select when purchasing. How to install: 1. Remove the genuine thru axle, screw the short threaded end of this product onto the right side, and secure with about 6Nm. (If you are concerned about scratches on the vehicle body, we recommend installing the included nylon washer.) 2. Set the long left side and screw it in until it touches lightly. 3. Hold the right side with the included hexagonal wrench so that it does not come loose, and fix the left side with about 10Nm and you are done. 4. If the vehicle body hits the fixed part of the roller stand due to the protrusion of the head on both ends, please adjust it with the included aluminum washers. *If you wish to remove it, please follow the steps in reverse.
