If Be Not Nobody was Vanessa Carlton kicking open the door with piano-pop, Harmonium is the record that solidified her as a fearless songwriter—unafraid to lean into orchestral ambition, lyrical vulnerability, and a little bit of weirdness. Originally released in 2004, this cult-favorite sophomore album found Carlton pushing boundaries instead of chasing hits, teaming up with then-boyfriend Stephan Jenkins (Third Eye Blind) to craft something darker, deeper, and way more underrated than it ever got credit for.

Finally available on vinyl for the very first time, we're thrilled to bring Harmonium to the format it always deserved. Pressed on a few stunning color variants with brand-new packaging and lyrics included, this release pays proper tribute to a record that was misunderstood in its time—but deeply beloved by those who get it.

Tracks like “White Houses” and “Private Radio” still hit like open-heart surgery, and deep cuts like “Papa” and “Half a Week Before the Winter” prove she was never just the “A Thousand Miles” girl—she was building her own universe the whole time.
