Notice: Do not install anchors with tile grout. Bolthold anchors must be installed with the specified EPX2 or EPX3 special grout.

Bolthold SP18-716 Asphalt Anchors are heavy-duty anchors skillfully designed for asphalt applications. This 12" asphalt anchor bolt is great for mounting plates, fences, and machinery directly to asphalt surfaces. This anchor requires a 1" hole that is 12" deep, and the use of grout to secure it to the asphalt. The length of the bolt inside the anchor should not exceed 2.5". Each anchor is pre-installed with a bolt and a washer.

You can load the anchors at 80% of their pull rating if the object/structure stands solidly by itself. If the object applies a static pull force on the anchors just as it stands, limit the load to 20% of the pull rating.

Features:

• Anchors are mounted flush with the surface.
• A 1.4" header at the top of the anchor prevents the anchor from dropping below the surface and being pulled up into the mounting plate once the bolt is tightened.
• The attached objects can be easily removed without leaving protrusions on the surface.

Listed below are the approximate amounts of grout required to install one six-pack of SP18-716 asphalt anchors.

• One six-pack of EPX2 grout. (12 oz. bags) - Each Bag Of EPX2 grout installs (1.2) SP18-716 Anchors.
• One EPX2 tub of grout. (10 lb. tub) - Each Tub Of EPX2 grout installs (16) SP18-716 Anchors.
• Four EPX3 cartridges of grout. (10 oz. tube) - Each Tube Of EPX3 grout installs (1.5) SP18-716 Anchors.
