Surco's
ladder-mounted bike rack attaches to the vertical supports of your RV's
ladder instead of to its rungs so that it can fit a wider variety of
applications. In addition, the rack arms have a unique, built-in pivot
feature that lets you swing them away from the ladder. Now you can
maintain complete access to your ladder - as long as no bikes are
mounted at the time - with no need to remove the rack.To
pivot the arms of your rack to the side, simply remove the pull pins
from the top brackets of each arm, swing the arms out and replace the
pins to secure. Now you have full use of your van or motor home ladder.
To use the rack, pivot the arms back and secure them in place in the
same manner.The
arms of the rack attach to the ladder supports with sturdy, secure
clamps that hold the rack firmly in place, eliminating the bouncing and
jostling that can occur with racks that simply hook onto your ladder.
Just attach the arms, individually, to the 1-inch-diameter posts of your
ladder, and you're good to go.
