This leather nametag commemorates Astronaut Sally Ride's historic first flight aboard Shuttle CHALLENGER on STS-7, June 18-24, 1983.  Dr. Ride was America's first female astronaut to go to space, and America's youngest, having just turned 32 years old the month before her flight.  

Made from 1/8" thick, real vegetable tanned leather. Hand dyed and cut, these have an authentic raw edge, sewed to hook tape for attaching to your flight jacket or flightsuit!
