💡 Pro tip: Apply decals before assembling the kitchen where possible — it's much easier to work on flat panels. If already assembled, remove handles and knobs and detach doors where possible for best results.

To apply:

1. Measure your panels carefully and mark out your cuts before starting
2. Cut decals to size using sharp scissors or a fresh sharp blade
3. Peel the full backing sheet off completely
4. Carefully position and stick — reposition as needed before pressing firmly
5. Keep the adhesive surface clean — dust or debris will affect stickiness
6. Cut a small cross where any screw or handle holes are needed
7. Reattach handles and knobs
8. Trim any excess edges for a clean finish — see trimming tips below

✂️ Trimming Guide

Some pieces are provided slightly oversized to allow full surface coverage — here's how to trim them cleanly:

1. Align the decal carefully with two straight edges first
2. Apply and smooth firmly into place
3. Trim the remaining sides with a brand-new sharp Stanley knife or box cutter
4. Always use a metal ruler for a straight, clean edge

⚠️ Important trimming notes:

• Never leave excess decal overhanging panel edges — this causes peeling over time
• Always use a sharp, fresh blade — fraying occurs when the blade is dull
• These are peel-and-stick fabric decals, not vinyl — a sharp blade is essential
• A second set of hands makes lining everything up significantly easier
