DarkSide Collectibles Studio™ Proudly presents Street Fighter™ Ryu 1/3 Scale Legacy Series Premium Statue

For more than 30 Years Ryu has become one of the most beloved and fierce fighters in Street Fighter Universe. Based on the official art of the character as appeared in the Street Fighter V chapter, Darkside Collectibles StudioTM brings to life the epic tale of Ryu with two alternative ways to display and all therelics from his epic fights throughout the years.

The base purely relies on the environment of Suzaku Castle (朱雀城, Sujakujō). The lower level of the base carry designs from the original game set in a perfect elemental marriage between stone, wood and fire.

The SFV logo is presented hot/fired up as can be seen in the official cover of the Game.

The top part of the base is enhanced with relics from his fights with formidable adversaries such as Master Bison, Balrog, Fang, Vega and more.

As a final touch to the base elements we wanted to give the essence of what the character fighting values are. Using calligraphy we have included the sign of the 4 Fūrinkazan, wind (風 Kaze?), forest (林 Hayashi?), fire (火 Hi?) and mountain (山 Yama?) The same four kanji can be seen on a sign on the left-hand side of Ryu’s stage in Street Fighter II, and are also visible on his belt in Street Fighter IV and V. The four words are based on chapter seven of Sun Tzu’s Art of War, which dictates how one should conduct battle: “as fast as the wind, as quiet as the forest, as daring as fire, and immovable as the mountain.”

Silent, respectful and powerful, Ryu is one of the most resolute warriors in the world’s premier fighting game series Street Fighter, and the only character to appear in every Street Fighter game and every Street Fighter crossover.

Based on the character design in Street Fighter™ V chapter, Darkside Collectibles StudioTM brings to life an astonishingly detailed Ryu. This 1/3 scale premium statue is fully sculpted and stands tall at 65 cm in height.

Standing victorious on a base designed to represent the iconic Suzaku Castle stage, Ryu stands atop the relics of his beaten opponents, waiting for a new challenger to rise up.
