Kris Artistic Display Dagger

The Kris is an Indonesian asymmetrical large sized dagger with a distinctive wavy blade & is one of the weapons commonly used in the Pencak Silat martial arts, native to Indonesia. It is known to be the secondary armament carried by warriors in case they lost their main weapon, which was usually a spear. It was also worn as a part of the ceremonial attire.

The blade has a distinct wavy design with a diamond cross section, which gives the dagger its strength & stiffness; the handle is made of bone with a pommel which depicts the head of a Panther, the front quillion or guard is made from brass; this allows for a tight one handed grip of the dagger & the front quillion prevents any accidental handle slips while in use. The blade is hand forged & expertly tempered from superior quality high carbon steel & the scabbard is made for quality hard wood covered with leather & provided with belt hanger loops, it also has a brass tip cover to enhance its beauty.
